The Joules Accelerator
Joules Accelerator runs two cohorts of six advanced grid startups per year. Founders join a three-month program where they access Joules’ ecosystem of industry, utility, and subject matter advisors. Joules Accelerator identifies and introduces key partners for potential pilot deployments and demonstration opportunities.
The program includes customized commercialization support, utility-driven feedback, and opportunities to pitch to the Joules ecosystem.
We look for early-stage (pre-seed to Series A) advanced grid startups with a Technology Readiness Level between four and eight, that improve affordability, resilience, and speed to power.

Applications for Cohort 18 are open now through November 30th.
The Top 25 applications will be shared with our network for review, from which six will be selected.
Cohort 18 will be announced by the end of the year, and will kick-off in early 2027.
The application should take less than 20 minutes to complete.
