Joules Accelerator sponsored this year’s DTECH Initiate Start Up Hub in San Diego, CA. Congratulations to EcoPhi, one of our Cohort 16 startups, for taking the top spot! Cohort 16 finalists Noble Carbon and Syncrowin took second and third place.

Joules welcomed ecosystem partners at UNC Charlotte’s Energy Production and Infrastructure Center and Duke Energy’s Mt. Holly Microgrid. Despite postponing the key events of Day 2 and Day 3 due to Winter Storm Fern, the R&D Showcase was a success. Thanks to those who joined us.

Joules co-hosted alongside E2, Women's Energy Network, and NCSEA at Heist Brewery in Charlotte, hearing from a panel of speakers and networking.

Joules moderated a session on bringing utility scale solutions to market with panelists from National Grid Partners and EPRI. 

Joules attended and networked with dozens of startups and potential sponsors, and participated in a funders event to showcase our work. 

Joules, Duke Energy, and Snowflake hosted over 160 attendees to talk about advanced grid challenges, opportunities, and innovations. Panels addressed topics such as AI and data centers.
