Future Grid 26 >>
Convening Energy Leaders to Support Grid Innovators
Innovation, Opportunity, Action
Hosted across Charlotte’s leading corporate and academic venues, including Duke Energy Plaza and Honeywell Global Headquarters to UNC Charlotte’s Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC), the series brings together Utility, Startup, Capital, R&D, and Industry leaders for three days of collaboration and discovery.
Future Grid 26 is a catalyst for accelerating the deployment of next-generation grid solutions. By creating a trusted environment where the industry’s most influential energy stakeholders connect, Future Grid aligns around resilience, reliability, affordability, security, and scale.

Three Days of Collaboration in
Uptown Charlotte.
The Future Grid 26 event series marks a major step forward in uniting the Carolinas’ clean energy ecosystem around a shared vision for grid innovation. Each session is designed to move beyond conversation toward action: utilities share innovation roadmaps, startups showcase breakthrough technologies, and partners identify opportunities for pilot projects and co-development.
Future Grid 26 also highlights the Carolinas’ unique strength as a hub for advanced grid innovation, combining world-class corporate leadership, deep technical expertise, and a growing startup and research community. Every year, the Future Grid Event Series aims to expand this collaborative network, shorten the path from prototype to pilot, and help build the partnerships needed to power the grid of tomorrow.
